RESETAR THROWS COMPLETE GAME SHUTOUT IN GAME 1 OF POOL PLAY

STRUTHERS, OH- The Astro Falcons got a first round victory over the Pittsburgh Spikes with a complete game shut-out performance by Collin Resetar.

Tonight’s matchup was a pitching dual through and through with Pittsburgh Spikes pitcher Jules Prozzoly throwing 5 innings of 3 hit baseball, and allowing just 1 run in the second inning. That run came across on a 2 out walk by Drew Snyder, followed by an RBI triple by Gavin Kessler. The DH’s triple proved to be the game deciding run in a 1-0 Astro Falcons victory.

Collin Resetar was lights out tonight, picking up the victory. Resetar threw 7 shutout innings, allowing just 3 hits, while striking out 8 batters. Resetar threw 100 pitches on the dot in the thrilling victory. The Falcons return to the field tomorrow in a double-header against the Brunswick Orioles, and the Canes.
