RHODES AND REBELS MAKE THEIR PRESENCE KNOWN

COLUMBIANA OH- The MVAC gray tier has been the talk of the town in the girls basketball off season. Featuring a pair of teams that took a trip to regionals last year, and a ton of talent spread out, debate has sparked on who will make the top spot. Crestview definitely wants to throw their hat into that ring, and on Monday night they made their presence known with an opening day win over Beaver Local 63-34.

Freshman Addison Rhodes left her mark on the night as she opened her varsity career with 33 points and 8 rebounds.  Lexi Blower finished with a double double for the Rebels with 14 points and 10 boards.  Luvrain Gaskins was the second Rebel to record a double double with 10 points and 18 rebounds.

Peyton Roberts had a great night for the Beavers.  She scored 25 points to lead the way for their offense.  Crestview takes seven days off before they return to action Monday at home against Springfield. Beaver Local has their biggest rival on the horizon with a road game at East Liverpool on November 29th.
