ROCKETS GET SWEET REVENGE ON SPRINGFIELD
LOWELLVILLE OH- In their last meeting it was Springfield that came out on top of a five set thriller over Lowellville. On Thursday however, the Rockets turned the tables and took a five set match from the Tigers. (20-25 25-18 25-16 21-25 15-10)
Sammie Kelly was all over the stat sheet finishing the night with 45 assists, 9 kills, and 6 digs. Fellow senior Haley Cutter had 6 kills, and 9 blocks. Sydney Price broke in to double digits in the kill category with 11 kills. Hadassah Rivera played a great defensive night with 33 digs.
Jameka Brungard led the Tigers offense with 10 kills. Maddi Lesnak had 8 kills, and she added 4 aces. Sami McKim finished the night with an impressive 28 digs. Gianna Piccuta led in assists with 13.
