LOWELLVILLE, OHIO- The Lowellville Rockets nabbed the lead late in the game in an 18-14 victory over the Windham Bombers on Tuesday.

The Rockets were down 14-13 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Brady Bunofsky singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Bunofsky led Rockets to victory as he went 3-for-5 at the plate as he drove in runs on a single in the first, a in the fifth, and a single in the sixth.

Ricky Palumbo started the game for Rockets as he lasted five and a third innings, allowing nine hits and 11 runs while striking out four. Dylan Okular got the win for Rockets as the fireballer lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out one and walking one.  Bunofsky threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen as he recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Rockets.

The Bombers scattered 11 hits in the game as Wyatt Hanshaw, Dylan McCune, and Chase Eye all managed multiple hits. Eye took the loss for the Bombers as the righty surrendered ten runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out three.

Lowellville will now take on Mathews fora chance to advance to the sectional finals.
