ROCKETS TURN ON THE AFTERBURNERS

CORTLAND OH- Maplewood wasted no time making a statement in their tournament opener, rolling past Windham 70-5 on Saturday.

Aliah Brumit led the charge with 18 points, while Morgan Himes poured in 17. Claire Urcheck added 13, Katie Wear chipped in 9, and Lauren Krieg finished with 7 as the Rockets dominated from start to finish.

With the win, Maplewood moves on to the district semifinals on Tuesday, where they’ll host the winner of Wellsville vs. Sebring.
