ROCKETS WALK OFF RESERVE

STRUTHERS OH- A walk-off single led Lowellville past Western Reserve 3-2 on Saturday. The game was tied at two with the Rockets batting in the bottom of the seventh when Brady Bunofsky singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Ricky Palumbo struck out 13, while Western Reserve pitchers sat down eight.

The Rockets got things moving in the second inning, when an error scored one run.

In the top of the sixth inning, Western Reserve tied things up at two when they hit a RBI single on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Palumbo pitched the Rockets to victory. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out 13 and walking one.

Gabe Platt was on the hill for Western Reserve. The hurler went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out seven.

Bunofsky led Rockets with three hits in three at bats.
