ROCKETS WIN PITCHER’S DUEL AND MOVE ON

Sammie Kelly threw a gem on Tuesday for Lowellville, allowing zero runs and besting John F. Kennedy Catholic by a score of 1-0

The pitching was strong on both sides. Kelly struck out ten, while Faith Hollobaugh sat down six.

One bright spot for John F. Kennedy Catholic was a single by Hollobaugh in the fourth inning.

Kelly was on the rubber for the Rockets. The righty allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out ten and walking zero.

Hollobaugh started the game for John F. Kennedy Catholic. The pitcher surrendered one run on five hits over six innings, striking out six.

Kelly led Lady Rockets with two hits in four at bats. Lowellville tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. KC Kelly led the way with two.
