ROLL OFFS BOUNCE EAGLE WEAR IN HIT-FEST

STRUTHERS, OH- A combined 18 hits for teams on Saturday evening was the headline for the Whiting/Eagle Wear Hit Showcase.  Both offenses were strong but Whiting took the 11-6 victory over Eagle Wear .

The Roll Offs fired up the offense in the first inning when an error scored one run.

Owen Keister was credited with the victory for Whiting. He allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Will Gubba and Domenic Bumblis entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jacob Lample led things off on the mound for Eagle Wear. He surrendered four runs on zero hits over one-third of an inning, walking one.

Roll Offs tallied nine hits in the game. Corbin SevcikBen Miller, and Sam Patton all managed multiple hits for Roll Offs Whiting 14UPattonMiller, and Sevcik each collected two hits to lead Whiting.  Sevcik led Whiting with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.

Eagle Wear had nine hits in the game. Micah Jones collected multiple hits for Eaglewear.
