ROTH DOWNS CSA WITH BIG BATS

STRUTHERS, OH- Roth Brothers got started early on Thursday night, they captured the lead in the first inning when Logan Baxter singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run and never looked back, beating CSA 9-4.

Roth took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third John Cambert drew a walk, scoring one run, and Andrew Brown induced Brendan Ray to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.  Roth added four runs in the fifth inning. RayPJ Scott, and Gabe Saunders all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Luke Rohan led the Roth to victory on the mound. He allowed one hit and two runs over three innings, striking out three. Ben Wilcox threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Noah Adamson started the game for Complete Sports Academy. He surrendered two runs on three hits over two innings. John DarnleyBrown, and Carson Fuller each contributed in relief for CSA.

Saunders went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Roth in hits.
