ROTH THUNDERS OVER AVALANCHE

An early lead helped Roth Brothers defeat Avalanche 14-2 on Sunday.  Roth scored on a double by Dylan Casey, an error, and a groundout by Brendan Ray in the first inning.

Roth Brothers notched seven runs in the fourth inning.  CJ Frasco, Andrew Kali, PJ Scott, Dustin Smith, Ben Wilcox, and  John Cambert each drove in runs during the inning.

Ray was the winning pitcher for Roth Brothers. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on zero hits and striking out five.  Gabe Saunders threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Zach Livosky was on the pitcher’s mound for Avalanche. He lasted two innings, allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out two.  Anthony Roper and Hunter Stelter entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Roth Brothers tallied 11 hits.  Tyler Wardle and Kali each racked up multiple hits.  Kali and Wardle all had two hits to lead.

Santino Piccirilli went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Avalanche.
