SALEM FALLS SHORT AGAINST CARDINALS

CANFIELD OH- Salem’s season came to an end on Tuesday night with a 58-53 loss to Canfield in the sectional semifinals.

It was a competitive game throughout. Salem trailed by just four at the half 27-23. They had a great third quarter outscoring Canfield 20-11 in the quarter to lead 53-48 going into the final stretch. The Cardinals just made a final push to surpass the Quakers.

Drew Weir led the Quakers with 18 points. He also hit five three pointers in the game. Salem ends their season with a record of 6-17.
