SALEM OH- The Salem Lady Quakers made a statement with a tremendous win over state-ranked Marlington to put them in control of the EBC league.

After coming off of quarantine, they had a slow start with a 5-16 deficit but that would be the last quarter they did not come out on top.

Holding Marlington to just 11 points in the second half, the Quakers finished the game 45-37. In a team effort, scoring was spread out amongst the Quakers with Kyla Jamison leading the pack with 11 points, Abbie Davidson with 7, Casey Johnson and Annie Davidson with 6, and Abby Perry, Jenna McClish, and Alivia Davidson with 5 apiece.

Salem is now 8-2 and 4-0 in the EBC. The Quakers will travel to Alliance on Wednesday.
