SALEM WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT ON SENIOR NIGHT

SALEM OH-  Before the contest, Salem honored their four seniors Rylie Troy, Jenna McClish, Madalynn Workman & Cieria Doyle with a beautiful ceremony.

These young ladies mean the world to our program & their leadership is the reason for the current winning streak. Thank you & we love you.

Earlier in the season Salem beat back to back Devils teams. This evening they beat the second straight Wildcats team to take their winning streak to four games & raise their record to 9-9.

Birthday girl – Rylie Troy struck out 12 batters for her 9th win in the circle with 99 K’s on the season. She helped her cause at the plate with an RBI single & stolen base. Fellow senior Jenna McClish hit a 2 RBI single & stole 2 bases. Madalynn Workman scored a run & Cieria Doyle just missed getting a hit down the first base line.

Channing Toy, Sophie Maniscalco & Mack Zumbar each singled. Channing stole her 15th base on the year. Bella Brant got hit by a pitch … again.

Jenna McClish made a nice running catch in center to stop a possible Wildcat rally.

Salem is at Carrollton tomorrow for another conference game.
