SAMPSON PLAYS HERO FOR SALEM

SALEM OH- Salem pulled off some last-second magic Wednesday night, taking down Canton South 51-50 in a thriller. With the game on the line, Karlie Sampson stepped up and drilled a clutch three with two seconds left to seal the win for the Quakers.

Reese Davidson Chuck led the charge with 24 points, while Abby Knickerbocker added 11. Peyton Colbert chipped in 7, Rylee Davidson Chuck had 5, and Sampson finished with 4—none bigger than her game-winner.

Next up, Salem hits the road for a Saturday showdown at Austintown Fitch. Tip-off is set for noon.
