SCHIAVI TAKES THEM TO SCHOOL
NORTH JACKSON OH- Everyone came in to the 2022 football season knowing the caliber of quarterbacks that were featured in the area. The Mahoning Valley features maybe the most returning stars under center than we’ve ever seen. Little did we know that Jackson Milton had one waiting in the wings. In Week 1 Jackson Milton’s Alex Schiavi introduced himself with a monster 7 touchdown game. He has taken the reigns of the quarterback position inside a conference that already features a ton of talent. Schiavi holds his own that is for sure. He has managed to quickly gain the respect of the locker room, and become an incredible leader on the field. He almost acts as a second coach. He is someone who can definitely be trusted to get his teammates in the right positions. That is why Jackson Milton is on the cusp of one of their best season’s in program history. Through 8 weeks the Jays sit at 6-2.
Schiavi doesn’t care much for personal numbers, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t putting up some seriously impressive ones. Through 8 games Schiavi is 125/186 through the air. That is a completion percentage of 67%. He has thrown for 1471 yards. He has a solid touchdown to interception ratio as well with 21 scores and only 6 INT.
