SCHULTZ PUTS ON A SHOW

COLUMBIANA OH- McKenna Schultz was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Friday, driving in four on two hits to lead Crestview past Garfield 12-6 on Friday. Schultz drove in runs on a grand slam in the second.

Crestview collected 17 hits and Garfield had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

The Rebels got things moving in the second inning, when Ellie Ricketts singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Kaedyn Sutton took the win for Crestview. The pitcher allowed 11 hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

The Rebels launched two home runs on the day. Sutton went deep in the second inning. Schultz went for the long ball in the second inning.

Crestview totaled 17 hits in the game. Joanie Wood, Ricketts, Schultz, Katie Lissi, Karsyn Moore, and Sutton all managed multiple hits for Crestview. Ricketts and Wood each managed three hits to lead.
