SEABROOK WALKS IT OFF

Crestview took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple LaBrae 5-4. The game was tied at four with Crestview batting in the bottom of the seventh when Jensyn Seabrook singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

In the top of the sixth inning, the Vikings tied things up at four. Aryana Hartman drove in one when she doubled.

Kaedyn Sutton earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle for Crestview . Sutton lasted seven innings, allowing ten hits and four runs while striking out four.

Grace Barnhart took the loss for LaBrae. Barnhart went six and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on 11 hits and striking out four.

Crestview collected 11 hits on the day. Alexis Smith, Brooke Brubaker, Karsyn Moore, and Shianna Mathes all had multiple hits. Mathes, Moore, Brubaker, and Smith each collected two hits to lead.

The Vikings scattered ten hits in the game. Hartman and Myra Kintz each had multiple hits. Hartman led with three hits in four at bats.
