SEMBACH GRABS CAREER WIN NUMBER 500

LORDSTOWN OH- There have only been two coaches at Newton Falls since the basketball program started in 1955.  Roy Sembach is one of them. With time comes success for the head coach of the Tigers.  On Wednesday in Lordstown, the Tigers temporary home Newton Falls gave coach Sembach his 500th career win.  The victory over Crestview was by a score of 61-50.

The Tigers were led by a furious effort from Alex Pennington who finished with 21 points.  Dom Greathouse punched his way to double figures for the Tigers scoring 12 points.  Mac Haidet chipped in with 7 points.

Kirkland Miller paced the Rebels with a 17 point night. James Best also finished in double figures with 11.

Newton Falls continues their quest for a MVAC championship with a game against Garfield on Friday.  Crestview will also be back in action on Friday as they travel to Campbell.
