SONGER DOMINATION GIVES HUBBARD SERIES SWEEP

HUBBARD OH- Braydon Songer was untouchable on the mound Wednesday, mowing down 16 batters and leading Hubbard to a 4-0 shutout win over South Range.

Songer was locked in from the first pitch, giving up just three hits over a complete seven-inning effort. He walked two but kept the Raiders off balance all night with command and punchout stuff.

Hubbard got on the board early, scratching out two runs in the first thanks to a base hit and a walk with ducks on the pond. That was more than enough run support for Songer, who took it from there and never looked back.

The Eagles picked up just four hits on the day, but they stayed patient at the plate, working seven walks to keep the pressure on. Gabe Rusnak and Matthew Bobovnik each knocked in a run, while Logan Balla and Johnny Reyes each drew a pair of walks to keep things moving.

Defensively, Hubbard played a clean game—no errors, solid glove work, and Reyes led the way with 16 chances handled flawlessly behind the dish.

South Range scattered a few hits but couldn’t find the big swing to break through. They also played tight defense with no miscues in the field. Hubbard now gears up to host Madison on Friday, while South Range heads to Boardman looking to bounce back.
