SOUTHEAST SHOWS COMPLETE DOMINATION

RAVENNA OH-  The Southeast Pirates were locked in from start to finish on Wednesday, sweeping a doubleheader against Liberty with wins of 17-1 and 10-1. From the batter’s box to the bump, the Pirates controlled every inning and flexed some serious depth.

Game 1 – Statement Made Early

Liberty scratched across a run in the top of the first, but it didn’t take long for Southeast to flip the switch. The Pirates dropped seven runs in the home half, sparked by a two-run double from Nate Muccino, and they never looked back.

They piled on with four more in the second and six more in the third, feasting on Liberty miscues, sharp singles from the heart of the order, and aggressive baserunning.

Joe Sharish was dominant on the hill—three innings, no hits, eight punchouts, and complete control. Timothy Parbel led the hit parade, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs from the nine-spot. Muccino matched that RBI total, and Southeast finished with 11 hits, eight walks, and six stolen bases.

Game 2 – Same Script, Same Result

In the nightcap, it was more of the same. After a scoreless first, Southeast cracked it open in the second with a two-run single from Parbel. An error and a knock by Braedyn Walden made it 4-0 in the third, and the Pirates never let Liberty breathe.

Cohen Richardson threw three no-hit innings with five strikeouts to earn the win, and Caleb Miller closed things out. The arms stayed in control, and the defense stayed clean—zero errors across the board.

Offensively, the Pirates tallied 10 more hits and drew nine walks. Caden Dillon and Muccino each collected two hits, while Parbel and Walden added two RBIs apiece. Keto drew three walks, and the team ran wild again with five more steals.

Two games, 27 runs, and complete domination in every phase. Next up for the Pirates: a Thursday matchup with Fuchs Mizrachi.
