SOUTHERN WINS THIRD STRAIGHT SECTIONAL

SALINEVILLE OH- Southern Local is heading back to districts for the third year in a row after steamrolling Medina Christian 62-17 in the sectional final.

The Indians wasted no time taking control, putting this one away early. Allyssa Shroades led the charge with 19 points, while Makenna Jones added 17. Addi Martin and Maddy Jones each chipped in 8 as Southern dominated from start to finish.

Next up, the Indians hit the road for the district semis, taking on Smithville on Tuesday.
