SPRINGFIELD DIMS DOWN THE FLASHES

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Springfield and Champion were matched up in a massive showdown on the pitch Monday night. Both teams were riding very successful seasons. The Tigers however, took down the Flashes 3-1 in what turned out to be a match that lived up to the billing.

The Tigers took a 2-0 lead into the locker room. The first goal of the night was scored by Ava Vecchione. Then with about 23 minutes to go in the half, Gracie Venturella put one in. Champion came out of the break and cut the lead in half with a goal from Taylor Huhn.
