SPRINGFIELD GIRLS SOCCER CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Springfield has been one of the most dominant girls soccer programs in the area in the last couple of years. The Tigers have only lost 3 games in the last 2 seasons. That kind of dominance does not come without fantastic leadership. Three seniors captain the Tigers, and they all are hungry for a successful season. Gracie Venturella, and Kylie Medvac both earned 1st team All-District honors in 2020. Venturella was also named in the Steel Valley Soccer Elite IX along with All-County, and All-MVAC honors. Medvac also earned All-County, and MVAC honors. Their third captain Kaila LaMorticella has been on the 2nd team All-District team three seasons in a row.

These three seniors took the time to join YSN’s Running Point to talk about their season. They chat with Anthony Hartwig and Ty Bartell about leading the team, games they are looking forward to, and so much more.
