NORTH JACKSON OH- Another season, another undefeated record for the Springfield Tigers. They came in to week 6 still needing a win to earn an outright championship in the MVAC. They left no doubts in anyone’s mind who would be crowned in the end with a dominating 44-8 victory.

Beau Brungard threw for 185 yards and four touchdowns. Three of those scores found his favorite target of the night Jake Joyce. Joyce totaled 62 receiving yards. Clayton Nezbeth also caught a touchdown from Brungard.

Jackson Milton struggled, but was still able to get a highlight caliber throw from Frankie Prozy. He found Cole Grope for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Springfield has earned a bye week in the OHSAA playoffs. They’ll await the winner of Western Reserve vs Columbiana. Jackson Milton will also have a week off, however their opponent is already set as they will travel to McDonald on October 16th.
