Springfield wins contest against Jackson-Milton on Monday, 4-2

In the first inning, the Tigers got their offense started when Haleigh McCalla’s sac fly scored one run.

McCalla pitched Springfield to victory. The pitcher went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out ten and walking one.

Riley Headley took the loss for Jackson-Milton. The bulldog allowed six hits and four runs over six innings, striking out seven.

Abby Joseph started the game for the Tigers. The hurler surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out one and walking one

Joseph went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Springfield in hits.
