SPRINGFIELD VOLLEYBALL COACH'S CORNER (EP 1) WITH ANGELA JONES

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- The Springfield volleyball program has a proud storied tradition of success, and head coach Angela Jones knows it all to well being a Tiger graduate. Getting the Tigers back to their former glory is a priority. Last season’s final record may have been acceptable for some programs, but it did not meet the Springfield standard. The Tigers may not have any seniors this year, but coach Jones that her large junior class is experienced enough to handle the leadership roles that will be asked of them. She will lean on Madi Lesnak, and Jacey Mullen who have both been named captains of the team.

Coach Jones was able to spend some time on YSN’s Running Point this week to give us a preview of the 2021 season. She talks with Anthony Hartwig about being a Tiger alum herself, what to expect from the Tigers this season, and much more.
