STACHOWICZ COLLECTS ANOTHER SHUTOUT

HUBBARD OH- Juli Stachowicz threw a gem on Tuesday for South Range, allowing zero runs and besting Hubbard by a score of 9-0.

South Range secured the victory thanks to six runs in the third inning. Keira Brogan, Kelly Szolek, Samantha Susany, Madison Dado, and Gretchen Bartels each had RBIs in the big inning.

A single by Kaylee Schultz in the second inning was a positive for Hubbard.

Stachowicz got the win for the Raiders. The lefthander surrendered zero runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one.

Schultz was on the rubber for Hubbard. The hurler  went four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and striking out three. Haleigh Taylor threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

South Range tallied 11 hits on the day. Dado, Szolek, and Brogan all managed multiple hits. Szolek and Dado each collected three hits to lead the way. The Raiders didn’t commit a single error in the field. Szolek had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.

Lauren Komorek went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hubbard in hits.
