STELLATO SOLID FOR STRUTHERS, BLANK SOUTHEAST

STRUTHERS, OH- Hunter Stellato had all the right stuff on Saturday for Struthers, allowing zero runs and besting Southeast by a score of 10-0. The Wildcats secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the first inning. Jared Laczko, Anthony Monaco, Stellato, Brandon Breznai, JD Hall, and Laczko all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Struthers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Laczko singled, scoring one run.

Stellato got the win for the Wildcats. He allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one.

Knoch took the loss for Southeast. He surrendered ten runs on nine hits over four innings, striking out six.

The Wildcats collected nine hits. Laczko, Billy Opritza, and Morgan Sumption all managed multiple hits for Struthers Wildcats Varsity. Sumption, Opritza, and Laczko each collected two hits to lead the team.

Ranker led Southeast with two hits in two at-bats.
