STRINES SHINES IN NO HIT PERFORMANCE

WARREN OH- Tori Strines was brilliant in the circle on Wednesday, as Strines threw a no-hitter to lead Boardman past Warren G. Harding 17-0.

Boardman opened up scoring in the first inning, when Strines singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Strines took the win for the Spartans. The fireballer lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 11 and walking one.

Karly Trisler took the loss for the Raiders. The hurler surrendered 17 runs on 19 hits over five innings, striking out one.

Boardman racked up 19 hits in the game. Maddie Wymer, Maddie Dravecky, Strines, Natalie Davis, and Laci Jurus each racked up multiple hits. Wymer went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the way  in hits. Dravecky led Boardman with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
