STRUTHERS HAS EVERYTHING CLICK

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Jefferson watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-0 loss to Struthers on Wednesday.

The Falcons struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing the Wildcats, giving up ten runs. The Wildcats were led by Chance Laczko, Olindo Pezzone, and Anthony Pastella as they each managed multiple hits.

Laczko led Struthers at the plate with three hits in three at bats. Alec Grzyb got the start for Struthers on the mound as the righty lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out nine.

Toby Dickson led things off on the mound for Jefferson and went three innings, allowing eight runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one. Tate Hudson threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Devin Salinas and Hanson each collected one hit to lead the Falcons at the plate. Jefferson and Struthers will face off against each other once again on Thursday at 5:00.
