SUMMERS HEATING UP IN LISBON

LISBON, OH- The Lisbon Blue Devils  grabbed an early lead on its way to a 13-3 victory over Wellsville on Monday. The Blue Devils scored on a single by Garrett Cox and a single by Blake Reynolds in the first inning.  Cameron Summers was the winning pitcher for Lisbon. He allowed one hit and two runs over two and a third innings, striking out two. Josh Entrikin threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kerner took the loss for Wellsville. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out one.

Lisbon hit one home run on the day. Summers went yard in the fourth inning.  Summers went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Devils in hits. The Devils also blazed a trail on the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Jaikep Entrikin led the way with two.  These teams will finish up the two-game set this evening in Wellsville.  First pitch is set for 5PM.
