ASTRO FALCON MANAGER DON PLETCHER JOINS RUNNING POINT

EAST PALESTINE OH- The Astro Falcons 18u team did not end the NABF World Series the way the would like. A series of events forced them to forfeit in a quarterfinal game. Since it happened, it has been a widely discussed topic in the local baseball scene. Astro manager Don Pletcher took the time to call in to YSN’s Running Point to clear up any speculation on what happened with his first hand account. Don also takes the time to reflect on the NABF weekend as a whole, and what it meant to all the teams to have it after missing it in 2020 due to COVID.

The Brooklyn Bonnie Jays won the 2021 NABF World Series Championship.

The Astros still have plenty of baseball to look forward to this summer. They will play for a spot in the Palomino tournament in Texas. Then they will come back to Bob Cene Park and resume the 18u Class B Playoffs.
