PEREZ’S PLACE

If there’s one young man that’s ready for this season, it’s Austintown Fitch’s Nose Guard, Joe Perez.  The Falcon senior has seemingly been waiting for this moment to etch his name in the history books for the red and blue.  Perez is a big, athletic body at 5’11 who serves as the anchor of the Fitch defense.

In 2019, those are big shoes that need to be filled as this team has big plans, and it all starts up front on both sides of the ball.

YSN General Manager caught up with the Fitch freighter to discuss this season, Coach A, and a few of his favorite things outside football for this week’s Austintown Fitch Player Profile: Perez’s Place.

CRESTVIEW FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH PAUL CUSICK

2019 marks year 21 as Paul Cusick as the Head Coach at Crestview, and this season the expectations are no different.  With no senior players on the roster, Coach Q will be forced to mature his underclassmen in a hurry and bring them up to speed, quite literally, on Rebel Football.

If you know Coach, you know that he doesn’t shy away from a challenge, and the 2019 schedule is proof of that.  The first five weeks represent one of the most daunting tasks in the entire area, and with quiet confidence, Crestview expects to navigate their way successfully through.

Year 3 of Crestview Football Coach’s Corner is underway, and you hear the good word straight from the Rebel Leader himself on this week’s edition.
