NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH- Returning again for another season is Springfield standout Aiden Appel who plays Defensive Back and Wide Reciever. With Springfield having a whole new receiving core this year look for Aiden to be a leader among the group this year. Alongside that Aiden looks to continue making a strong impact on the defensive side of the ball this year. 

YSN’s own Steve Leslie got a chance to sit down with Aiden this week at Tiger’s Table, to talk about what its like going into his senior season, their week 1 matchup against South Range, along with his goals and expectations for this upcoming season, wea slo find out why his teammates gave him the nickname “Nut”, alongside some rapid fire question to get to know Aiden better both on and off the field.
