TWO ‘LAIN HIGHWAY

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- You know what they say…things in life are better paired together.  Peanut butter and jelly, Batman and Robin, Spongebob and Patrick, Snoopy and Woodstock, Chandler and Joey, and at Cardinal Mooney: Alaina and…Alaina.

Senior Cardinal Softball players Alaina Scavina and Alaina Francis have teamed up to become one of the greatest tandems of all time for Mooney Softball.

The two are interchangeable in the circle and behind the dish, and when one is down- the other is certain to pick things up.  Opposing coaches have been frustrated by that fact over the last 4 years, and even more frustration comes when they’re both at the top of their game- and lately, that’s been a frequent occurrence.

Although the final destination has concluded in their softball careers, the history these two have created is something nobody can ever take away!

We caught up with the dynamic duo to discuss all things Alaina on this episode of Cardinal Mooney Player Profile: Two ‘Lain Highway.
