POLAND OH- Poland volleyball opened up the season with a 3-1 win over Jefferson. Under new head coach Aleah Hughes the Bulldogs looked strong after dropping set one.

The Falcons started out with on fire in the opening set, but couldn’t hold on with scores of 25-13, 16-25, 22-25, 22-25. Jefferson’s overall record is 0-1 and 0-1 in the Northeast Eight Conference (NE8). Poland is 1-0 (1-0).

The Falcons travel to Girard this evening in another conference matchup. Action for the JV starts at 5:30pm with the Varsity following them.

Poland will travel to Struthers on Tuesday to continue league play.
