YSN BASEBALL ALL-STAR GAME ROSTERS ANNOUNCED

EAST PALESTINE, OH- The Rosters have been filled out for the 2022 YSN Baseball All-Star Game on June 25th, 2022 at Bob Cene Park.  The game will take place at 7pm, featuring the area’s standout players under the banner of Your Sports Network.

As always with YSN All-Star Games, a chosen organization that benefits the community was selected as the beneficiary of all of the admission funds.  Project MKC will be onhand to throw out the first pitch, and be recognized for all the great work they have done for families in need in the Mahoning Valley.

Admission will be $5 at the gate, and fans are encouraged to bring memorabilia to be autographed by players, and coaches before, during, and after the game.

This year, there are 50 representatives from area schools in the showcase.  Canfield’s Head Coach Gary Knittle, and Louisville’s Skipper, Brian Warner will lead each team with their respective staffs.

YSN CHARITY BASKETBALL GAME A MASSIVE SUCCESS

CANFIELD, OH- Basketball Fans and supporters turned out in droves during last night’s inaugural YSN Charity All-Star Basketball Games.  Proceeds raised during the event are to be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand to help fight childhood cancer.  In front of a nearly capacity crowd at South Range High School, and over 7,000 viewers on YSNLive.com the showcase of over 20 different schools under the YSN banner proved to be top-notch entertainment.

The girls led things off with some serious star-power.  Ursuline standout and Pitt recruit, Dayshanette Harris started things off with a three-pointer (11 points on the night) for Team Blatch.  Also showing off the hot-hand last night was Crestview Senior, Haley Eskra who dialed long distance one more time for her Coach and fans and finished with 5 points.

For Team Nittoli, Poland’s Sarah Bury led the way with 14 points and was voted YSN All-Star Game MVP as she cashed in clutch free throws down the stretch to help her team to a 64-61 victory.

Also contributing in the victory were Struthers’ Trinity McDowell and East Liverpool’s Emma Ludwig who had 8 points apiece.

The boys game proved to be a high-flying affair and shined a light on the top-tier talent in Northeast Ohio.  There were dunks, alley-oops, and fans were treated to plenty of splash-downs from beyond the arc.  East Liverpool’s Gabriel Roach led all scorers with 19 points while putting on a show with numerous dunks to give Team Conley the victory 103-95 over Team Stanton.  Roach was also voted by the fans as the game’s Most Valuable Player.

For Team Stanton, Girard’s Matt Payich set the tone with some incredible play of his own adding several rim-rocking dunks and also contributed from beyond the arc.

We wish to thank all involved in these games as we feel they were the most fun games we’ve seen in an All-Star Game.  Final totals are still rolling in for what was raised for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, so stay tuned for the amazing show of generosity exhibited on March 20, 2019.

YSN TO HOST CHARITY ALL-STAR GAME FOR PARTNER SCHOOLS AT SOUTH RANGE

CANFIELD, OH-  With over 400 basketball games played on YSN this Winter, it was time to highlight some of the best and give back to those in need at the same time.  Your Sports Network is proud to announce that it will host a set of All-Star Games on March 20th that will showcase its partner school’s players.  The Network has also teamed up with South Range Senior, Jaxon Anderson on his senior project to have the game benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (www.alexslemonade.org) which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

South Range Senior, Jaxon Anderson

“We always set our sights on making the biggest impact possible,” says YSN CEO and Founder, DJ Yokley.  “These schools, student-athletes, and coaches are the heartbeat of YSN.  To team up with Jaxon to benefit children (and families) who are battling life’s toughest punch is something I feel people will rally behind” Yokley added.

All proceeds for ticket sales and souvenir sales will be donated to ALSF.  Invitations for players and coaches are being finalized, but the action will showcase some of the best talents the state has to offer.
