CSA AND BALLISTIC END IN TIE

STRUTHERS OH- 

Complete Sports Academy tied the game on a single in the fifth inning as CSA tied Ballistic Baseball 12-12 on Saturday.

CSA opened up an early lead in the first inning when Mike Gushura singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

CSA tallied five runs in the fourth inning.  CSA offense in the inning came from a single by Trevor Porter, a groundout by Cole Shields, and a double by Ethan  Feezle.

CSA collected 13 hits on the day.  Carson Fuller and Feezle all had multiple hits.  Feezle and Fuller each collected three hits to lead CSA.  

Ballistic scattered eight hits in the game.  Zach Ganser and Caleb Saterfield all managed multiple hits.

PROSPECTS ESCAPE FOR THE WIN

STRUTHERS OH- Prospects had to endure a three run 7th inning to hold on to beat Ballistic Baseball 4-3. Prospects scored two in the 1st and two again in the 3rd.

Jake Dohy has a good day for Prospects. He went 1-3 with a run scored and a RBI. Jake Hettrick went 1-3 with a RBI.

JR Prossen shined for Ballistic. He went 2-3 with 2 RBI. Mike Earman went 1-3 with a RBI. Cole Butcher went 1-1 with a run scored.

Robby Kist got the win for Prospects on the bump. He went 6 innings giving up 3 runs on 7 hits. He struck out 3.

EAGLE WEAR BATS EXPLODE IN BIG WIN

STRUTHERS, OH – The Eagle Wear offense got started quick and left no doubt as they struck for four runs in both the first and second innings. By the time Ballistic Baseball got on the board, Eagle Wear was already settled in. Once Eagle Wear put up another five runs in the top of the fifth inning, they just cruised to a 13-3 victory.
For Ballistic Baseball, Koby Zupko went 2-2 with a run scored and an RBI. Bryce Smith went 1-2 with a double and a run scored. Tanner Egil went 1-2 with a triple and run scored. Kevin Schott picked up the loss today while giving 4 hits, 4 runs with one earned.
For Eagle Wear, Zach Lordo went 2-3 with two doubles, one run scored, and 2 RBI. Donny Shimko went 2-3 with a double and 3 runs scored. Teddy Ruffner went 1-4 with a triple, 2 runs scored, and an RBI. Brett Palmer went 2-3 with a run scored and 3 RBI.
The winning pitcher was Larry Iagulli for Eagle Wear as he went the complete game giving up 3 earned runs on 7 hits with 2 strikeouts.

CREEKSIDE STIFLES BALLISTIC OFFENSE

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside pitching handcuffed Ballistic Baseball’s offense. They jumped ahead early with three runs in the first inning. After adding a run in the 5th, Creekside sailed to a 5-0 win.

For Creekside, David Duffalo went 2-3 with a RBI. BJ Arnold went 1-2 with a walk and a RBI. Nick Flemming went 1-2 with a walk, 2 runs scored, and a RBI.

Ballistic’s offense struggled, but Dustin Horn has a perfect day at the plate going 2-2. Bryce Smith went 1-3.

Andrew Vince was electric on the bump for Creekside. He went all 7 innings giving up 0 runs on 5 hits. He struck out 5.

 

BALLISTIC COMES OUT ON TOP DURING HIGH SCORING AFFAIR

STRUTHERS OH- Scoring was not a problem Tuesday for Ballistic Baseball and Avalanche. The two teams combined for 29 runs and 19 hits. Ballistic had a massive twelve run 5th in response to a six run 4th by Avalanche.

Koby Zupko went 4-4 for Ballistic with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Matt Dubois went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 5 RBI.

For Avalanche Marshal Weinburg went 2-3 with a run scored and 4 RBI. Conner Evans went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and a RBI.

Isaac Schleich got the win on the mound for Ballistic. He went 2 innings giving up 6 runs on 6 hits. He struck out 1.

BALLISTIC SQUEEZES BY AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH-

Ballistic Baseball snagged a late lead and defeated Avalanche  4-3 on Monday. The game was tied at two with Ballistic batting in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored one run.

Ballistic got things started in the second inning when Boston Mullinax singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Avalanche evened things up at three in the top of the sixth inning when David Moyer grounded out, scoring one run.

Zach Ganser led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Ballistic. He allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one.

Hunter Stelter was on the hill for Avalanche. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and two runs while walking zero.  Chandler Maurice and Aidan Bowser entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one and one-third innings respectively.

Ballistic had eight hits in the game.  Beau Alazaus and Mullinax all had multiple hits. Mullinax and Alazaus each managed two hits to lead

Avalanche saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game.  Mark Cattron and Maurice all managed multiple hits.  Cattron went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead.

ASTRO FALCONS STYMIE BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH-

Ballistic Baseball had a tough time generating runs on Monday, dropping their game with Astro Falcons.

Kolten Ruark led things off on the pitcher’s mound for the Falcons. He lasted two innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out three.

Caleb Saterfield started the game for Ballistic. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out one and walking one.  Dom Elia and Michael Chambers entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.

Saterfield went 0-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with  one run batted in.

Astro Falcons had 11 hits in the game.  Jaden Rishel, Drew Kaschak, and Ryan DiLullo all had multiple hits.

BALLISTIC HOLDS ON TO BEAT CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH- Ballistic Baseball had to survive a furious late rally to come away with a 8-7 win over Creekside Sunday. Creekside scored five runs in the 6th inning to get within 8-7, but that’s as close as they’d get.

Nick Vitale went 1-1 with a walk and 2 RBI for Ballistic. Josh Ruben went 1-2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.

For Creekside, Riley Davidson went 1-1 with a run scored and 3 RBI. Keegan Thornton went 1-1 with a walk and a RBI.

Tre Ciaveralla got the win for Ballistic on the bump. He lasted 2 innings and gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He struck out a pair.

ROTH BROTHERS STORM BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- Great pitching, and just enough offense was the key for Roth Brothers in their 4-1 win on Sunday over Ballistic Baseball. Roth Brothers three runs in the first inning set the tone. Ballistic answered with one run in the 2nd, but that’s all they could muster up.

EJ Taylor went 2-3 for Roth Brothers with 2 runs scored and a RBI. Ethan Shaw went 1-3 with a RBI.

Anthony Koulianos collected the lone RBI for Ballistic Baseball. Matt Dubois went 3-3 with a run scored.

Justin Clevenger shined for the win on the mound for Roth Brothers. He went 7 innings and gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He struck out 6.

EAGLE WEAR BURIES BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- Eagle Wear had an impressive offensive output on Friday against Ballistic Baseball as they ran away with a 10-4 victory.

Teddy Ruffner had two hits including a triple, three RBIs and scored twice while Matt Womer had a double and scored once for Eaglewear. Joe Scott added 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Tanner Egli had a double, triple and scored twice while Bryce Smith had two hits and an RBI for Ballistic. Koby Zupko also went 1-2 with a RBI.

Larry Iagulli got the win on the mound for Eagle Wear. He went 4 innings gave up 0 runs on 2 hits and struck out a pair.
