TROY TREKS TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

STRUTHERS OH- Troy Bombers edged out Ballistic Baseball 10-8 in a high-scoring semifinal clash. Kingston McWilliams smashed two doubles and drove in two runs, while Jackson Colbert added two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Grady Stillwell and Noah Koopman each chipped in with two hits and a run.

For Ballistic, Pierson Ginocchi had a big game with two hits, including a double, three RBIs, and a run. Maddox Pieton also doubled and drove in a run, while Todd Jones had four hits, including two doubles, an RBI, and three runs.

Troy Bombers advance to face the Astro Falcons in the World Series Championship game.

BALLISTIC HAS AIM ON POINT

STRUTHERS OH- Ballistic Baseball crushed the Brooklyn Sluggers 11-1 on Friday night at Bob Cene Park. Jimmy Putko was on fire with two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs. Pierson Ginocchi had a big game with three hits and two runs. Maddox Pieton chipped in with two hits, an RBI, and a run. Kainan Lynch added two hits, two RBIs, and two runs, while Todd Jones smacked a double and drove in a run.

On the mound, Michael Bobovnik went five innings, giving up just three hits and no earned runs, while striking out three for the win.

BALLISTIC TAKES OUT DNA RAIDERS

STRUTHERS OH- Ballistic Baseball dominated the DNA Raiders with an 8-0 shutout on Thursday at Bob Cene Park. Braden Girman was clutch, racking up two hits, an RBI, and a run. Kainan Lynch added a double and crossed the plate.

Jimmy Putko was lights out on the mound, pitching six innings, giving up only four hits, and fanning eleven batters for the shutout win.

DIAMOND BOYS MAKE IT SHINE

STRUTHERS OH- Diamond Boys Showcase took down Ballistic Baseball 6-2. Jacob Griffith smashed a double and scored a run for Diamond Boys.

On the Ballistic side, Braden Girman was solid with two hits and a run. Jimmy Putko also came through with two hits and an RBI, while Todd Jones added a double and an RBI.

CREEKSIDE GETS THE GOOD VIBES

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside took down Ballistic 7-3 on Monday. Aidan Crochier led the charge with three hits, including a double and triple, three RBIs, and a run. Frank Senediak contributed with two hits and scored twice, while Caleb Hadley added a triple and a run.

On the mound, Tyler Skeen pitched four strong innings, giving up just one hit and no runs while striking out seven for the win.For Ballistic, RJ Fischer had a double, an RBI, and a run.

PROSPECTS HAVING A GOOD DAY

STRUTHERS OH- In a thrilling Sunday matchup in the 16U Class B Baseball, the Prospects overpowered Ballistic with an 11-2 victory.

Isaiah Burgess was on a tear with three hits and three runs. Vincent Weeks chipped in with two hits and an RBI. Seth Domes smacked a double, driving in two runs. Brandon Toot blasted a triple, bringing in a run and scoring twice himself. Elliot Gebhardt handled the mound, going five innings, giving up seven hits and two runs while fanning eight.

For Ballistic, Kyle Gilson put up a fight with three hits, including two doubles and an RBI, but it wasn’t enough to match the Prospects’ offensive onslaught.

THE WIND BLOWS ATHLETIX WAY

STRUTHERS OH- In a nail-biter on Sunday in 18U Class B action, Athletix squeaked past Ballistic 10-9 in a game that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Jake Wallace led Athletix with two hits, an RBI, and a run. Evan Tice came up big with three hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Caleb Satterfield added two hits, an RBI, and scored twice, while Luke Gehring contributed with a double and an RBI.

For Ballistic, Boyd Kurutz and Ian Wong each had two hits, with Wong adding an RBI and scoring twice. Danny Pederson had two hits, including a double, an RBI, and a run. RJ Fischer chipped in with two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Hunter Wilson had a double, drove in two runs, and scored, while Tyler Wright rounded out the offense with a triple, an RBI, and a run.

AVALANCHE GET THE BREAKS AGAINST BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- In 18U Class B action on Sunday, Avalanche edged out Ballistic 3-2. Carter DeJulia led the way with two hits, including a double. Nick Solderich added three hits, an RBI, and a run, while Bennett Hayne chipped in with a double and a run.

Noah Philson was solid on the mound, pitching a complete game, allowing just four hits and no earned runs, while striking out five. For Ballistic, Danny Pederson had two hits, an RBI, and a run, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Avalanche’s tight play.

DURA EDGE FINDS A WAY

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge had to sweat it out on Friday night in Class B action, but they pulled off a clutch 7-6 win over Ballistic with two runs in the bottom of the 7th for the walk-off victory. Ethan Adams led the charge, going 2-3 with 2 RBIs and scoring twice. Luca Franzaglio matched his effort, also going 2-3 with an RBI and crossing the plate twice. Alex Zordich and Jacob Rynd each chipped in with RBIs, while Ethan Feezle was perfect at the plate, going 2-2 with an RBI.

For Ballistic, Ian Wong had a solid night, driving in two runs, walking once, and scoring a run. Gabe Rusnak went 2-3, adding an RBI and a run, while Can Huff and Hunter Wilson also contributed with key RBIs. Despite their efforts, Ballistic couldn’t hold off Dura Edge’s late-game heroics.

FALCONS WIGGLE FREE OF BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- In a tight pitchers’ duel on Thursday night, the Astro Falcons managed to edge out Ballistic 3-2. It was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both teams showcasing solid pitching and timely hitting.

Taco Verraco led the charge for the Falcons, going 2-3 with an RBI and scoring twice. Rowan Urbach matched his effort with a 2-3 night, and Gavin Hiscox chipped in, going 1-3 and crossing the plate once. On the mound, Ben Oddis was dealing, throwing 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, and racking up 8 strikeouts.

For Ballistic, Owen Bauer had a solid night at the plate, going 1-2 with an RBI and a walk. David Vlosich also drove in a run, while Michael Mistretta went 1-2 with a walk and a run scored. Todd Jones added to the effort, going 1-2 and scoring a run. Bauer was also strong on the hill, pitching 6 innings, giving up 2 earned runs on 7 hits, and striking out 4.
