FALCONS BURY CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons continued to roll through the summer on Tuesday with a dominant 13-3 victory over Creekside. The Falcons were also helped out by 6 Creekside errors.

Ryan Petro was crucial to the Falcons onslaught. He went 1-3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Tyler Staub had a perfect day going 3-3 with 2 runs scored. Cole Constable went 2-3 with 2 runs scored with 1 RBI.

Nolan Radinsky had the lone RBI for Creekside. Jayden Maggs went 1-2 with a run scored. Kaden Anthony went 1-1.

Jake Grdic got the win toeing the rubber for the Falcons. He went 5 innings giving up 1 earned run on 4 hits. He struck out 6.

CREEKSIDE BLANKS DURA EDGE

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside bounced back from a loss earlier in the day to shutout Dura Edge 6-0. Creekside scored 6 runs on 10 hits and only allowed 4 Dura Edge hits.

Noah Reims continued his impressive night going 3-4 with 2 RBI. Anthony Sherwin went 1-4 with 2 RBI. David Duffalo went 1-3 with a walk.

Braden Gebhardt went 1-3 for Dura Edge. Ethan Hanley went 1-3 as well. Jake Bowen went 1-3. Joey Perfette got the 4th hit for Dura Edge, he went 1-3 as well.

Nic Rispoli got the win on the hill for Creekside. He went 5 innings giving up 0 runs on 3 hits. He struck out 8.

KNIGHTLINE SHOCKS CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH- Monday night Knightline upset the 2nd place Creekside team 6-2. Knightline exploded for five runs in the 4th inning. Before that outburst they were locked in a pitcher’s duel trailing 2-1. Knightline scored their 6 runs on 10 hits.

Leading the Knightline offense was Mason McCurdy who went 1-3 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Brett Bobin went 3-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI. Joe Roth also had multiple hits going 2-4 with a RBI.

Grant Voytovich had an impressive night in a losing effort. He went 3-3 with a run scored and a RBI. Noah Reims went 1-3 with a RBI.

Bobin got the huge victory on the bump for Knightline. He went the distance throwing 7 innings giving up 2 runs on 8 hits and striking out 6.

CREEKSIDE ENDS THE WEEKEND RIGHT

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside ended Sunday night with a 6-2 win over Ballistic Baseball. Not many hits were to be had on the day as the two teams combined for 7 hits. Creekside had a big 2nd inning however, scoring  five in the frame.

Devin Gruver led Creekside’s offense going 1-2 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Danny Smith went 1-2 with a run scored. Jack Davis collected the other team RBI, he also scored a run.

Isaac Schleich went 1-3 with a run scored for Ballistic. Luke Leonard went 1-2. Andrew Cupon collected the lone RBI for his team.

David Posey picked up the win on the bump for Creekside. He went 5 innings giving up 0 earned runs on 2 hits. He struck out 6.

 

EASY AS 1,2,3 A2Z CLAIMS VICTORY OVER CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH-

A2Z blew out   Creekside 8-2 on Sunday.

A2Z fired up the offense in the first inning, they scored one run on a stolen base.

A2Z put up four runs in the fourth inning.  Batters contributing to the big inning included Blake Jeffries and Matt Paparodis, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Paparodis took the win for A2Z. He surrendered one run on four hits over four innings, striking out two and walking one.  

Tyson Tarajack took the loss for   Creekside. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out four.

A2Z totaled ten hits in the game.  Jeffries, Carson Bish, and Danny Nittoli each collected multiple hits.  Jeffries went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead in hits.

CREEKSIDE PREVAILS IN HIGH SCORING AFFAIR

STRUTHERS OH-

Both  Creekside and Youngstown Eaglewear had their offenses going on Thursday, but Creekside eventually prevailed 11-6.

 Creekside opened up scoring in the first inning.  Creekside Fitness 14U scored one run when Tyler Mikulin tripled.

Creekside notched five runs in the third inning.  Creekside put the pressure on, lead by singles by Tj Richey and Drew Miller, a sac fly by Tyson Tarajack, and a double by Mikulin.

Alex Stowe earned the win for   Creekside. He surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out one and walking zero.  Miller and Dylan Sheeley entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Nathan May took the loss for Eaglewear. He allowed three hits and two runs over one and one-third innings, walking one.

Creekside totaled 15 hits.  Aiden Dominguez, Richey, Andrew Brian, Mikulin, and Tarajack each racked up multiple hits for   Creekside Fitness 14U.  Tarajack, Mikulin, Brian, Richey, and Dominguez all had two hits to lead.

Avery Maley led Eaglewear with two hits in four at bats.

BALLISTIC CANT CATCH UP TO CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH-

Creekside took the lead late and defeated Ballistic Baseball  7-3 on Thursday.  The game was tied at three with Creekside batting in the bottom of the fifth when Tyson Tarajack singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Ballistic fired up the offense in the first inning, when Beau Alazaus drew a walk, scoring one run.

After Ballistic scored one run in the top of the fourth, Creekside answered with one of their own.  Ballistic Baseball scored when Caleb Saterfield singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.    Creekside then answered when Donovan Bell-Sullivan tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Tyler Mikulin earned the victory on the hill for Creekside. He allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.  

Alazaus took the loss for Ballistic . He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out two and walking one.

 Zach Ganser started the game for Ballistic. He allowed one hit and two runs over two and two-thirds innings Tarajack started the game for   Creekside. He lasted one-third of an inning, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out one

KNIGHTLINE STITCHES A VICTORY OVER CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH- Knightline uses a well balanced offense on Wednesday to swing by Creekside 6-4. They scored 6 runs on 13 hits. Creekside gathered 4 runs on 5 hits. Right Knightline hitters gathered at least a hit. Four of them had multiple hits.

Anthony Massucci led the offense with a 3-3 performance with a RBI and a run scored. Mikey Sciortino went 2-2 with 3 RBI. Gavin Shrum went 2-3 with a run scored.

For Creekside, Shane Lindstrom went 2-3 with 3 runs scored. David Posey went 1-3 with a RBI. Jack Davis mirrored those numbers.

Jake Corll got the win for Knightline. He went 3 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits. He struck out 6.

CREEKSIDE SHELLS EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS OH-

The base paths were crowded today for both offenses in a high-scoring game where Creekside Fitness came out on top against Eaglewear, 18-8.

The Eaglewear struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Creekside, giving up 18 runs.

Eaglewear got things moving in the first inning, when Micah Jones singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Creekside pulled away for good with six runs in the second inning.  In the second Mikilia tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs, Donovan Bell doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Richey singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and Alex Stowe singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Stowe earned the win for Creekside. He went three and a third innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out five.

Jacob Jenkins took the loss for Eagle Wear. He allowed four hits and six runs over one and one-third innings.

 Dominick Ratkovich started the game for Eaglewear. He surrendered five runs on three hits over two-thirds of an inning, walking one TJ Richey started the game for Creekside Fitness. He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing seven runs on five hits

Creekside Fitness racked up 13 hits on the day.  Bell, Mike Patellis, Mikulin, Stowe, and Jake Werner all managed multiple hits for Creekside.

CSA SECURES VICTORY THANKS TO EARLY LEAD

STRUTHERS OH-

Creekside fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-2 loss to CSA  on Tuesday.  CSA scored on a single by Trent Porter in the second inning and a double by Mike Gushura in the second inning.

In the bottom of the first inning,   Creekside tied things up at one.  Donovan Bell-sullivan drove in one when he singled.

CSA pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning.  In the second Porter singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run and Gushura doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Ethan  Feezle was credited with the victory for CSA. He went six and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out seven.  Andrew Brown threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Aaron Doughty took the loss for   Creekside. He lasted two innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out one.

Tyler Mikulin went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead  Creekside.

Gushura led CSA with two hits in three at bats.
