KASCHAK NO HITS CSA TO END THE REGULAR SEASON

Drew Kaschak was brilliant on the mound on Monday, as he threw a no-hitter to lead Astro Falcons past Complete Sports Academy 13-0.

Astro Falcons secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the second inning.  The offensive onslaught came from an error on a ball put in play by Jake Schneider, AJ Verdi, and Kaschak, singles by Kolten Ruark and Ryan DiLullo, and a double by Bo Fornataro.

In the first inning, Astro Falcons got their offense started when DiLullo singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Astro Falcons tallied seven runs in the second inning.  The big inning was led by Schneider, Fornataro, Ruark, Verdi, Kaschak, and  DiLullo, all driving in runs in the frame.

Kaschak was the winning pitcher for Astro Falcons. He lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking zero.

John Darnley led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Complete Sports Academy. He went one and one-third innings, allowing nine runs on seven hits and walking one. 

Astro Falcons racked up nine hits on the day.  DiLullo, Ruark, and Fornataro each racked up multiple hits.  DiLullo went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead in hits.

A2Z KEEPS THE WIN TRAIN ROLLING

STRUTHERS OH-

The base paths were crowded today for both offenses in a high-scoring game where A2Z came out on top against CSA 14-6.

A2Z fired up the offense in the first inning.  Aiden Thompson grounded out, scoring one run.

CSA evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning.  An error scored one run.

A2Z pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning.  In the second an error scored one run.

A2Z notched four runs in the fourth inning.  Their big bats were led by Danny Nittoli, Blake Jeffries, and Carson Bish, all knocking in runs in the inning.

CSA scored three runs in the sixth inning.  Gavin Richmond and Jacob Wallace each drove in runs during the inning.

Hunter Swidzinski led the A2Z to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He lasted four innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out two and walking one. 

Noah Adamson took the loss for CSA. He allowed seven hits and 12 runs over four innings, striking out one.

A2Z hit one home run on the day. Jeffries had a homer in the third inning.

A2Z collected 12 hits.  Boccieri, Jeffries, and Hayden Pavlock all managed multiple hits.  Pavlock, Jeffries, and Boccieri each managed two hits to lead A2Z. 

CSA scattered 12 hits in the game.  Andrew Brown, Wallace, and Richmond each racked up multiple hits.  Brown went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead in hits.

CSA CANT HOLD UP TO ASTRO FALCONS

CSA struggled to get their offense going on Saturday, getting easily dispatched by Astro Falcons, 19-2.

Astro Falcons opened up scoring in the first inning, when Bo Fornatado singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, CSA tied things up at one.  Jacob Wallace drew a walk, scoring one run.

Astro Falcons pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning.  In the second an error scored one run for the Falcons and Joey Spano’s sac fly scored one run.

Astro Falcons scored 11 runs in the third inning. Their offense in the inning was led by Nick Lewis, Shawn Kristophel,  Kolten Ruark, Adam Gausman, Drew Kaschak, and Jake Schneider, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Ruark led things off on the mound for Astro Falcons. He went three innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out five.

Ethan  Feezle was on the hill for CSA. He went two innings, allowing five runs on two hits and striking out one. 

Carson Fuller went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead CSA in hits.

The Falcons totaled ten hits.  Ryan DiLullo, Schneider, and Fornatado all managed multiple hits.  

EAGLE WEAR WINS IN WALK OFF FASHION

STRUTHERS OH-

Eaglewear took Thursday’s game in dramatic fashion, with  a 12-11 walk-off victory over Complete Sports Athletics.  Eaglewear 14U was down 11-10 in the bottom of the sixth inning when an error scored two runs for Eaglewear.

Eaglewear collected 13 hits and CSA had nine in the high-scoring affair.

CSA opened up scoring in the first inning, when Carson Fuller singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

In the top of the fifth inning, CSA tied things up at nine.  Baron Hardy threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate.

Eaglewear tallied four runs in the fourth inning.  Cole Eaton, Sam Barber, and Nathan May powered the big inning with RBIs.

CSA scored five runs in the fifth inning.  Their big inning was driven by singles by John Darnley and Joey Komlanc and a walk by Nick Kyotianou.

Jacob Jenkins was on the hill for Eaglewear. He lasted one inning, allowing two hits and four runs while striking out two and walking one.

Kyotianou led things off on the hill for Complete Sports Athletics. He allowed ten hits and nine runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two.  

Eaglewear collected 13 hits.  May, Barber, Avery Maley, and Micah Jones each had multiple hits.  Jones, Maley, Barber, and May each collected two hits to lead Eaglewear.  

Complete Sports Athletics collected nine hits on the day.  Jacob Wallace and Fuller each collected multiple hits.

A2Z DECIMATES CSA

STRUTHERS OH- It was a blow out on Wednesday as A2Z ran away with a 18-3 victory over CSA. A2Z held CSA to just 1 hit. They scored 18 runs on 7 hits.

Carson Fuller had the only hit for CSA. He collected a RBI. Ethan Feezle has 2 RBI but no hits.

Aiden Thompson had a great day for A2Z going 2-3 with 3 RBI. Danny Nittoli went 2-2 with a walk and a RBI.

Thompson got the win for A2Z on the mound. He went 3 innings giving up 3 earned runs on 1 hit and striking out 5.

CSA KEEPS EAGLE WEAR GROUNDED

STRUTHERS OH-

CSA scored eight runs in the third on its way to a 12-2 victory over Eagle Wear on Sunday.  Trent Porter, Carson Fuller, Ethan  Feezle, Noah Adamson, Isaiah Torres, and  Jacob Wallace each had RBIs in the frame.

Eaglewear got things moving in the first inning.  Nathan May grounded out, scoring one run.

CSA pulled away for good with eight runs in the third inning.  In the third Porter singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Fuller singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Feezle singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Adamson tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Torres singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, an error scored one run  and John  Darnley singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Feezle got the start for CSA. He surrendered two runs on three hits over five innings, striking out eight.

Avery Maley led things off on the mound for Eaglewear. He allowed one hit and two runs over one inning.  

CSA collected 11 hits on the day.  Andrew Brown, Darnley, and Fuller each had multiple hits.  Fuller, Darnley, and Brown all had two hits to lead.

May went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Eaglewear.

WHITING DESTROYS CSA

STRUTHERS OH-

Nothing came easy for CSA on Thursday, as they fell 16-0 to Whiting Roll-Offs.

One bright spot for CSA was a double by Noah Adamson in the second inning.

Joey Pugh got the start for Whiting. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out three and walking one.

John  Darnley was on the hill for CSA. He surrendered eight runs on four hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one. 

Adamson, and Andrew Brown all had one hit to lead CSA.

Whiting racked up 12 hits.  Grant Melder, Ben Miller, Nick Thomas and Owen Keister each collected multiple hits.  Grant led Whiting with three hits in four at bats.

PROSPECTS PICTURE PERFECT IN VICTORY

STRUTHERS OH

Prospects defeated CSA 7-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Stephen Palmer induced a fly out from Andrew Brown to finish off the game.

Prospects secured the victory thanks to four runs in the second inning.  Anthony Marimpietri, Kris Hrosar, Nico Ciminero, and Cobey Airwikie each had RBIs in the big inning.

Prospects opened up scoring in the first inning, when they scored one run on a stolen base.

Prospects scored four runs in the second inning.  Their offense in the inning was led by Marimpietri, Hrosar, Ciminero, and Airwyke, all driving in runs in the frame.

One bright spot for CSA was a double by Ethan  Feezle in the fourth inning.

Freddy Bolchalk was the winning pitcher for Prospects. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over five and a third innings, striking out 11.  Palmer threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.  Palmer recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Youngstown Class B Prospect Pirates 14U 2020.

Noah Adamson took the loss for CSA. He allowed seven hits and six runs over four innings.

Donovan McCoy led Prospects with two hits in two at bats.  

Feezle went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead CSA.

CSA SECURES VICTORY THANKS TO EARLY LEAD

STRUTHERS OH-

Creekside fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-2 loss to CSA  on Tuesday.  CSA scored on a single by Trent Porter in the second inning and a double by Mike Gushura in the second inning.

In the bottom of the first inning,   Creekside tied things up at one.  Donovan Bell-sullivan drove in one when he singled.

CSA pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning.  In the second Porter singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run and Gushura doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Ethan  Feezle was credited with the victory for CSA. He went six and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out seven.  Andrew Brown threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Aaron Doughty took the loss for   Creekside. He lasted two innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out one.

Tyler Mikulin went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead  Creekside.

Gushura led CSA with two hits in three at bats.

CSA AND BALLISTIC END IN TIE

STRUTHERS OH- 

Complete Sports Academy tied the game on a single in the fifth inning as CSA tied Ballistic Baseball 12-12 on Saturday.

CSA opened up an early lead in the first inning when Mike Gushura singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

CSA tallied five runs in the fourth inning.  CSA offense in the inning came from a single by Trevor Porter, a groundout by Cole Shields, and a double by Ethan  Feezle.

CSA collected 13 hits on the day.  Carson Fuller and Feezle all had multiple hits.  Feezle and Fuller each collected three hits to lead CSA.  

Ballistic scattered eight hits in the game.  Zach Ganser and Caleb Saterfield all managed multiple hits.
