CANFIELD, OH- South Range High School volleyball senior Ella Crumbacher recently captivated audiences during a revealing interview on the YSN podcast, hosted by DJ Yokley. Known for her tenacity and leadership on the volleyball court, Crumbacher shared insights into her life, her dedication to her team, and her promising future plans.

Celebrated for her adaptability and willingness to step up, Crumbacher related a recent anecdote where she volunteered to play middle, a position she had never filled before, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her team. “We needed that position filled, and I felt like I could have done it, so I had to step up,” she stated. Yokley praised Crumbacher’s exceptional decision, emphasizing the rarity of left-handed players excelling in the middle position.

Crumbacher, whose family has deep-rooted ties to South Range, spoke with pride about donning the burgundy and gold. “It means so much to me, and I take pride in being a Raider,” she said, reflecting on the unity and lifelong bonds formed within her community.

Off the court, Crumbacher has ambitions of becoming a nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology, inspired by her mother’s career in nursing. She expressed admiration for her parents’ values and support, highlighting them as her guiding lights.
