AUSTINTOWN FITCH GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH DAN HORACEK
By Ty Bartell
AUSTINTOWN OH- The Austintown-Fitch Falcons girls basketball team is set to embark on another season, this time bringing some consistency back to the head coaching position with skipper Dan Horacek returning for his second season at the helm. Coming off a 14-10 season and an appearance at the districts in DIvision I a season ago, The Falcons look to benefit from expanded divisions going from four to seven and Fitch bumping down to Division II.
The Falcons will look to compete for the conference crown in the very tough All American Conference (AAC) where it looks to be a wide open race with the other four teams. The Falcons will open the season up on the road on Saturday, November 23rd at Hudson with a 1 p.m. tip-off. Prior to that, get ready for the season with this edition of Coaches Corner where YSNs TY Bartell gets the opportunity to chat with Coach Horacek about the upcoming season, his conference outlook and the goals going into year two. All that and more on YSN, your streaming home to The Austintown-Fitch Falcons.
