Planning to pursue a sports management degree in college while continuing his baseball career, Updegraff hopes to combine his love for sports and education. “I started really young in kindergarten, and ever since, I fell in love with it,” he said of his baseball journey.

Shaun attributes his unwavering work ethic to his father and the supportive culture of the South Range community. “I play for those guys next to me. I play for my family sitting right in front of us. It means the world,” he emphasized.
