TWO BIG INNINGS LIFT KNIGHTLINE TO VICTORY

STRUTHERS OH- Knightline did all of their scoring in two separate innings on Sunday against Ballistic Baseball. They scored seven in the 2nd and 5 in the fourth in a 12-9 win.

Brett Bobin continues to have an impressive summer going 2-3 for Knightline with 2 runs scored, a walk, and 2 RBI. Gabe Faunda went 3-3 with a run scored and a RBI. James Meehan went 2-2 with 2 runs scored, a walk, and a RBI.

Ballistic had an impressive offensive showing as well. Dustin Horn went 3-4 with a run scored and a game-High 3 RBI. Anthony Koulianos went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and a RBI.

Mason McCurdy got the win on the bump for Knightline. He went 2 innings and gave up 1 earned run on 5 hits. He struck out a pair.

WHITING GIVES BALLISTIC THE BLUES

STRUTHERS OH- Whiting Roll-Offs scored three runs right off the bat on Monday. Three runs were all they would need as their pitching held Ballistic Baseball to 2 runs. They got themselves out of a lot of trouble, as Ballistic had 10 hits on the night.

For Whiting’s offense, Chase Tomko went 1-2 with a walk and a RBI. Ethan Bintrim mirrored those numbers going 1-2 with a walk and a RBI. Brandon Hink went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and a RBI.

Dustin Horn has a perfect day at the plate for Ballistic. He went 3-3 with 2 runs scored. Patrick Copple went 2-3. Koby Zupko collected the lone RBI for Ballistic.

Jake Vitale got the win for Whiting on the mound. He went 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 8 hits. He struck out 7 and walked 1.

CREEKSIDE STIFLES BALLISTIC OFFENSE

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside pitching handcuffed Ballistic Baseball’s offense. They jumped ahead early with three runs in the first inning. After adding a run in the 5th, Creekside sailed to a 5-0 win.

For Creekside, David Duffalo went 2-3 with a RBI. BJ Arnold went 1-2 with a walk and a RBI. Nick Flemming went 1-2 with a walk, 2 runs scored, and a RBI.

Ballistic’s offense struggled, but Dustin Horn has a perfect day at the plate going 2-2. Bryce Smith went 1-3.

Andrew Vince was electric on the bump for Creekside. He went all 7 innings giving up 0 runs on 5 hits. He struck out 5.
