BARONS STAY IN FRONT OF THE STANDINGS

STRUTHERS OH- The 3B Barons dominated with an 11-1 win over Eagle Wear. Wes Conville led the charge with two hits and two RBIs. Aidan Leiendecker also had two hits, including a triple, and crossed the plate twice. Tommy Karoly chipped in with two hits, an RBI, and a run.

Colby McGuire had a big game, smashing a triple among his two hits, driving in three runs, and scoring once. Joey Campoli matched the energy with two hits, including a triple, adding an RBI and a run. Brady McGuire rounded things off with two triples and three runs.

EAGLE WEAR SNATCHES A VICTORY OUT OF THE SKY

STRUTHERS OH- In a nail-biting Class B Baseball 16U game on Sunday, Eagle Wear edged out Creekside Fitness 9-8.

Cole Gamertsfelder was clutch, smacking two hits, including a triple, and driving in four runs while scoring once. Sean Zura chipped in with two hits, an RBI, and crossed the plate twice for Eagle Wear.

On the Creekside side, Ben McDonald was all over the bases with two hits, an RBI, and three runs. Brooks Willis added two hits and an RBI, and Freddie Zehetner belted a triple, but it wasn’t enough to overtake Eagle Wear.

PROSPECTS SET SAIL TO VICTORY

STRUTHERS OH- In an 18U Class B Baseball showdown on Sunday, the Prospects dominated Eagle Wear with a 14-5 victory.

Dominic Santee crushed it with a double, an RBI, and scored a run. Evan Tuttle was on fire, racking up three hits, including two doubles, an RBI, and three runs. Grady Terzola had a big day with two hits, a double, two RBIs, and three runs. Reggie Danko added two hits, two RBIs, and a run. On the mound, Terzola pitched five solid innings, giving up just two hits and one run while striking out six for the win.

For Eagle Wear, Jake Jenkins managed a double and two RBIs, but it wasn’t enough to match Prospects’ firepower.

ATHLETIX FINDS THEIR WAY BACK ON TRACK

STRUTHERS OH- Athletix bounced back on Saturday in Class B action, taking down Eagle Wear 10-2. CJ Frasco and Alex Solema led the charge at the plate, each driving in a run and scoring once. Cody Burgert added an RBI and crossed the plate twice, while Jake Shumate went 2-3 with an RBI. Evan Tice chipped in with 2 RBIs to cap off the offensive onslaught.

On the mound, Konnor Brogan was solid, pitching 5 innings, giving up just 1 run on 4 hits, and striking out 7. Athletix looked sharp all around, getting back to winning form with a convincing victory over Eagle Wear.

KNIGHTLINE KNOCKS THE LIGHTS OUT

STRUTHERS OH- Knightline had no trouble handling Eagle Wear on Friday night, cruising to a 14-1 win. The bats were on fire, with Geno Perry leading the charge, going 1-2 with 4 RBIs and scoring once. Matt Pallerino was perfect at the plate, finishing 2-2 with 2 RBIs and crossing the plate twice. Nolan Darr contributed with a 1-2 performance, driving in 2 runs and scoring once, while Andrew Brown drew 3 walks and added an RBI. Taggart Carfangia was unstoppable, going 3-3 with an RBI and scoring twice.

On the mound, Brown was lights out, allowing just 1 run on 1 hit over 5 innings while striking out 8. It was a dominant performance from start to finish for Knightline, who made quick work of Eagle Wear.

ATHLETIX RAISES THE BAR

STRUTHERS OH- Athletix snagged a solid W on Thursday night, blanking Eagle Wear 5-0 in 16U Class B action. The bats were hot and the pitching was on point, making for a dominant performance.

Josh Tilden led the charge at the plate, going 2-2 and driving in two runs. Jaden Wallace was right behind him, finishing 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Cody Bungert also contributed, going 1-3 with an RBI and a run, while AJ Cheney added an RBI to round out the scoring.

On the mound, Jonathan Adamson was lights out. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball, scattering four hits and striking out seven. His stellar performance kept Eagle Wear off the scoreboard and sealed the deal for Athletix. It was a textbook shutout and a great team effort all around.

AVALANCHE ASSERT THEIR DOMINANCE

STRUTHERS OH- In Saturday’s Class B Baseball 18U action, Avalanche cruised to a 12-2 win over Eagle Wear.

Ivan Rudiak led the charge with two hits, three RBIs, and a run. David Moyer had a big game with three hits, including two doubles, an RBI, and three runs. Noah Philson also shined, collecting two hits, including a triple, driving in three runs, and scoring twice.

For Eagle Wear, Liam Bartlett and Kyler Bourne each hit a double and drove in a run, but it wasn’t enough to keep up with Avalanche’s offensive power.

ASTRO FALCONS TAKE TWO ON THE NIGHT

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons snagged their second win of the night on Friday at Bob Cene Park, defeating Eagle Wear 7-3. Tyler Vogel led the way with a 1-3 performance, driving in three runs, drawing a walk, and scoring once. Alex Venezia contributed with two hits, two RBIs, and a walk, while Aari Fox added an RBI and a walk. Ben Oddis was perfect at the plate, going 2-2, drawing a walk, and scoring twice.

On the mound, Will Petty was stellar, pitching six innings, allowing just one run on three hits, and striking out six, keeping Eagle Wear at bay throughout the game.

For Eagle Wear, Sam Owens drove in two runs, and Duan Reynolds added an RBI and two walks. Luke Julian had a solid game, going 2-2 with a walk and scoring twice, while Ben Barnes chipped in with a 1-3 performance.

FALCONS WASTE NO TIME BOUNCING BACK

STRUTHERS OH- Astro Falcons soared to a 14-3 win over Eagle Wear. Brodie Kuzior led the charge with a double, a triple, three RBIs, and a run. Jay Wrona was on fire, racking up two hits, four RBIs, and crossing the plate four times. Will Petty chipped in with two hits, including a double, and scored three runs. Brady Alexander added a double and two RBIs.

For Eagle Wear, Jake Jenkins managed a double and a run, but it wasn’t enough to match the Falcons’ offensive onslaught. Astro Falcons made quick work of Eagle Wear, showcasing their hitting power and teamwork.

OFFENSE SHOWCASE LEANS TOWARDS DURA EDGE

STRUTHERS OH- DuraEdge came alive late, using two five-run innings to topple Eagle Wear 14-9 in Thursday’s 18U league play at Bob Cene Park. Bradey Quimby snagged the win in relief for DuraEdge, while Jake Jenkins took the loss for Eagle Wear from the bullpen.

The game was an offensive showcase. Alex Zordich led all hitters, racking up three hits, including a triple and a double, with five RBIs and a run scored. Andrew Porto smashed a homer, added two hits, four RBIs, and scored twice. Luca Fronzaglio contributed two hits, scored three times, and drove in a run. Eddie Dolansky chipped in with two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Alex Eusebio had a hit and scored twice, while Drew Kockler hit an RBI double and crossed the plate in the wild win for DuraEdge.

For Eagle Wear, Jenkins and Duan Reynolds each collected two hits and scored a run. Shane Sodergren hit an RBI double and scored, rounding out the highlights in a game packed with offense.
