POTTERS STAND TALL IN SHUTOUT

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH-  East Liverpool Senior, Logan Torma shut down Beaver Local, throwing a completed game shutout and leading the Potters to a 1-0 victory on Wednesday.

The pitching was strong and truly impressive on both sides.  Torma struck out nine, while Beaver Local’s Pancake sat down 14.

East Liverpool got on the board in the first inning when a balk allowed the Potter base-runner to score from third.

Torma went on to get the win for East Liverpool while allowing four hits and giving up no runs over seven innings.

Cory Weyand went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Potters offensively.
