WELCOME TO THE KNIGHT’S WATCH

HANOVERTON OH- In her four years at United, Grace Knight has not only left an indelible mark but has been a dominant force for the Eagles on the varsity floor. Stepping onto the court as a freshman, she immediately made her presence known, setting the stage for a remarkable high school career.

While she may not be the loudest voice, Grace’s growth in leadership is evident. Her ability to convey what needs to be said, coupled with the confidence that has flourished over the years, has translated into an impressive scoring record—just shy of 1,000 career points. With under 100 points to reach this milestone, it’s nearly certain that she’ll achieve this feat before the season concludes.

Hailing from a competitive household, Grace follows in the footsteps of her brother Grant, a notable name in United’s athletic programs.

Despite the legacy, Grace is carving her own path and aims to conclude her high school career by leading United to a deep tournament run, creating a season that will be etched in the memories of all who witness her formidable skills on the court.

LISBON, OH- United came in tied with Columbiana atop the girl’s standings in the EOAC, and Lisbon had hopes to play spoiler heading into Monday’s contest.  Unfortunately for the Lady Devils, those hopes were dashed early in the game with the relentless attack from the Lady Eagles to the tune of 46-18.

Lisbon kept things tight with some early points, including a big three from Brooklyn Cousins to give the Lady Devils an early lead, but the second-chance opportunities for United were just too much.  The Lady Eagles have 6 players listed as 5’10 or above on their roster- and the made the most of it on Monday night.

BROOKFIELD HOLDS BACK EAGLES

The closest the Eagles would get was three points. Every time they got too close for comfort, Brookfield would come up with a huge shot. United had the ball down just four with about 12 seconds to go in the game and got senior Destiny Hill a good look from the corner. It would not fall though, and two more free throws from Hook would ice the game at 53-47.
