HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN BOYS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH JOSH SCOTT

COLUMBIANA OH- Heartland basketball is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited. The Lions are returning a bunch of scoring, and look to be a high flying offense once again this season. That makes them exciting, which means that gym of theirs is going to be a loud place to be this winter. It got loud last year with a capacity crowd. Head coach Josh Scott is just as excited for the season as we are, and he says he thinks his program can take the next step this year.

We were able to talk coach Scott into coming on Running Point this week to give us some insight into what the Lions will look like this season. He chats with Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig about what the prospects of the season are, what he thinks it means to be a Lion, and so much more. Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Josh Scott is live.

HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN VOLLEYBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MAGGIE BOWERSOX

COLUMBIANA OH- The volleyball season for Heartland Christian has been about growth. The Lions knew coming in to 2021 that it was going to be a season that featured young players on the roster. They would have to grow up quick. But, there’s no better way to grow than to fill your schedule with tough opponents that raise the standard. Heartland has done just that, and head coach Maggie Bowersox is pleased with her teams development, especially on the mental side of things. The tournament season for the Lions will kick off on October 19th against Warren JFK at 4:30.

Coach Bowersox took the time to hop on YSN’s Running Point this week. She talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about the tough schedule, some of her leaders, and much more. Join the pride and check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Maggie Bowersox.
