CANFIELD BOYS SOCCER COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MIKE BAILEY

CANFIELD OH- It seems like everywhere that Mike Bailey goes in coaching career has found tremendous success. He’s broken program records, he’s taken a team to the state tournament, and now he looks to another challenge. Bailey takes over in his first year of coaching at Canfield for the boys program. Canfield has had plenty of success as a program in the last decade, only 1 out of the last 11 seasons has not ended in a winning record. It would appear that Mike Bailey is poised for even more success.

Coach Bailey has become a mainstay on YSN’s Running Point, and gladly came on the show again this season to give us a preview of Cardinals boys soccer.  He talks to Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig about what was most important to establish while taking over the program, being part of the Canfield coach’s room, and so much more. Fly with Cardinals and check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Mike Bailey.

CARDINAL MOONEY BOYS SOCCER COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MATT BRITTON

YOUNGSTOWN OH- In 2020 the Mooney boys soccer team made a run all the way to the state championship game. They fell just short but still ended up with the state runner up title. There’s only one way to one up their 2020 performance, and that is to win the whole thing. They have some pieces to replace, that is certain. They lost their whole midfield from 2020. They still do return 6 starters, and will have plenty of leadership. Head coach Matt Britton is entering his third season at the helm, and has dramatically turned the program around. Mooney opens the season on August 23rd at Berea Midpark.

Coach Britton took the time out of his day to join Running Point this week. He talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about turning the program around, the experience of getting to the state championship, and so much more. It’s almost soccer time in Youngstown, so get ready with Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Matt Britton.

POLAND BOYS SOCCER COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH BRIAN GARCAR

POLAsaND OH- Last season Poland was unstoppable in the regular seay son finishing the year without a single blemish on their record. Eleven seniors led that team through a year of adversity and uncertainty. Even though they graduated those eleven seniors, Poland returns plenty of talent and leadership. They have plenty of reasons to be optimistic in the 2021 season. Brian Garcar takes another year as the head coach leading the Bulldogs head first into another promising season.

Coach Garcar was kind enough to take the time to hop on to YSN’s Running Point to talk about the upcoming season. He chatted with Anthony Hartwig about getting the players back to a normal summer, conditioning accountability, and much more. We expect great things for the Poland program and so should you! Check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Brian Garcar.
